Quick Tour of the “Keys & Codes ” Screen

All security professionals who wish to obtain Honda and Acura key code and immobilizer information must meet the following requirements.

 

Non-Subscribers to ServiceExpress:

  1. You must be a registered member of the National Automotive Service Task Force Secure Data Release Model (NASTF SDRM) registry, and a current ServiceExpress Security Professional Keys and Codes subscriber. Click here to be redirected to the NASTF Registry to complete the registration process.

  2. Upon completion of the registration, click here to return to the SeviceExpress "Welcome" page and purchase a Security Professional Keys and Codes subscription.

    NOTE: All subscriptions include Honda and Acura information.

Applicable Models:

Key Codes: 1991-present

Immobilizer Codes: All models with immobilizer except Honda Prelude, Acura RL (through 2004), and Acura NSX.

NOTE: If no keys are available, programming a replacement key will bump all existing keys out of the immobilizer memory. All existing keys must be reprogrammed into the immobilizer memory using the HDS.

Required Tools (Immobilizer Equipped Vehicles):

  • Modular Vehicle Communication Interface (MVCI)
    The MVCI is a VCI device that allows you to update control modules on all Honda and Acura vehicles that have programmable chips.

  • Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) software package
    This software package will allow registered locksmiths to make a key, perform diagnostic functions, and program control modules.
