Remove frost and condensation from outside surfaces.
Press the rear defogger and heated door mirror button to defog the rear window and mirrors when the vehicle is in ON. Depending on the outside temperature, the rear defogger and heated door mirror will automatically shut off after 10-30 minutes of use; however, if the outside temperature is below 32°F (0°C) or below, it will not automatically shut off. If the outside temperature is below 41°F (5°C) the heated door mirror may activate automatically for 10 minutes while the vehicle is in ON.
This system consumes a lot of power. To avoid weakening the battery, turn the feature off once the windows have been deiced or defogged and avoid using the feature for extended periods of time with the engine idling.
