If the vehicle is overheating, immediately park in a safe place.
Put the vehicle in Park (P) and set the parking brake. Turn off all
accessories and turn on the hazard lights. One or more of the following
things will occur:
- The "High Temperature. Power Reduced." message appears on the
multi-information display. In this case, keep the power mode set to
ON and wait for the message to disappear. If the message does not
disappear or reappears, contact an authorized Honda Clarity Plug-In
Hybrid dealer for repairs.
- The "Stop Driving When Safe. Engine Temperature Too Hot" message
appears on the multi-information display.
- If no steam or spray is present, keep the power system on and
open the hood.
- If you see steam or spray, set the power mode to OFF and wait
for it to subside. Then, open the hood.
