Features

The Smart Cable is a handheld device that allows you to update and initialize the control module on all 1996-1999 Acura SLXs and 1996-2002 Honda Passports with a new calibration.

Hardware

Requirements:

1. PC or laptop using Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional operating system only and an Internet connection.
   NOTE: Any other operating system cannot be used.
   
   
2. One open 9-Pin serial (RS232) port on the PC to connect the Smart Cable.

Rental procedure

You must be a current ServiceExpress subscriber. A minimum 3-day subscription is required to rent the Smart Cable tool, receive software updates, and to access the latest documentation. We recommend you periodically update your subscription to check for the latest related bulletins, newsletters, and service manual procedures.
