Control Module Replacement

Features

The installation of a new replacement PCM requires the vehicle’s security (Immobilizer) system to be registered to the new PCM. This is necessary so the vehicle can start and run normally. This process involves registering all vehicle key information on the new replacement PCM. A tester and special software connected to the vehicle are necessary to complete the replacement.

Hardware

Requires one of the following testers and/or interface devices.

Testers:

Software

• Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) Software Package. (To enroll in the HDS software package subscription program, click here)
